Hi I’m Karan - a full stack developer from Bangalore with more focus on backend development. I have more than 5 years of experience in software industry. I’m currently a Software Engineer at Confluent, India. There I work as a backend engineer covering all areas Software Development life cycle - design, estimation, development, testing, and deployment. I have created scalable systems and services with focus on performance, fault tolerance, availability and security. I have worked in payments, rental and logistics platforms and have deep knowledge of the domain. I do some freelancing in my spare time. I can also design user interfaces, with strong focus on responsive design, accessibility and performance using latest front-end design techniques.

Availability

I’m currently working full time and hence can only take up small freelance projects with relaxed deadlines. I'm currently looking out for full time/hybrid remote opportunities (or work from home). You can contact me for the same. Please have a look at my resume.
